Description
2013 Yamaha F200 Outboard Motor (commonly known as the F200XA / F200 series) is a lightweight, high-performance 200HP four-stroke marine engine designed for offshore fishing boats, center consoles, bay boats, and medium-to-large recreational vessels. It is part of Yamaha’s redesigned inline four-cylinder outboard lineup introduced to deliver better fuel efficiency, lighter weight, and strong mid-range torque compared to older V6 200HP engines.
This engine became popular because Yamaha moved away from the heavier V6 design and introduced a more modern inline-4 3.3L platform, making the F200 one of the lightest 200HP four-stroke outboards in its class.
