Based on Mercury Racing’s proven 3.0L V6 OptiMax platform, the 250XS combines lightweight two-stroke performance, direct fuel injection technology, rapid acceleration, and exceptional top-end speed. Mercury designed the 250XS series specifically for high-speed bass boats, performance vee-bottoms, and catamarans capable of speeds exceeding 85 mph while still delivering low emissions and strong fuel economy for a high-performance engine.
